Three Genesee County residents are facing underage drinking charges.
Keith Jackson, 18, of Slusser Road, Batavia, Corey Mooney, 19, of Lockport Road, Oakfield, and a 17-year-old Batavia girl were allegedly involved in an underage drinking party on Orchard Street in Oakfield on Saturday.
All three were issued appearance tickets for Town of Oakfield Court on Jan. 28.
Two Tonawanda Indian Reservation residents are charged with second-degree harassment.
Heather Ground, 27, of Meadville Road, and Casey Jonathan, 35, of Skye Road, got into a physical altercation at a ceremony at the Longhouse on the Reservation.
Stay away orders of protection were issued to both subjects. Following their arraignment in Town of Alabama Court, both were released on their own recognizance.
A 19-year-old Albion man is accused of robbing the Yellow Goose convenience store on North Main Street in the Village of Albion Wednesday.
Orlando Hernandez is facing a felony charge of third-degree robbery as well as menacing, and petit larceny. Hernandez allegedly entered the store with a bandana covering his face and demanded money from the cash register while intimating he possessed a hand gun.
Using the recent snowfall to track his whereabouts, Albion police -- with assistance from New York State Police and the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office -- located Hernandez hiding in a closet of a nearby apartment.
$287 was stolen and has been recovered. Hernandez was remanded to Orleans County Jail on $10,000 baill and is scheduled to return to Town Court on Jan. 28.
