LeRoy Central School Superintendent Cindy Herzog has abruptly resigned, school officials confirmed this morning.
In a memo to staff late Friday afternoon, LeRoy Board of Education President Donald Hobart announced that the board had received the resignation of Herzog effective immediately. Hobart thanked Herzog for "all of her many contributions" to the LeRoy School District.Herzog has been superintendent for three years.
The board also named Dr. David DeLoria as interim superintendent.
DeLoria served as interim superintendent between the period when M.J. Brooke left the district and Herzog was hired.
