A West Main Street Road resident is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Tonya Weber, 28, was arrested for allegedly leaving her children with a person unfit to care for them Sunday. When she was contacted by law enforcement to return home and care for the children, Weber never showed up.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed that the children were neglected. The Genesee County Department of Social Services assisted in the investigation.
A Batavia man is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Jonathan Garcia, 20, of West Main Street Road (a different address than Weber) was arrested after several nude images of a female juvenile subject were allegedly found on his cell phone during a probation officer’s visit to his home last week.
A Rochester woman, after being released from City of Rochester jail on an unrelated matter, was arrested on a warrant from the Town of Batavia.
Faith Obeirne, 45, was wanted on charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $500 and she is set to appear in court Feb. 25.
An Ohio man is behind bars at the Genesee County Jail with bail set at $100,000 on an arrest warrant from Town of Oakfield Court.
Shawn Twardowski, 30, of Marietta, Ohio, was arrested in Caldwell, Ohio, on charges of first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated harassment. The charges stem from an incident in November on South Pearl Street. He is scheduled to return to court March 4.
