A Batavia woman is facing 41 felony charges for using checks with forged signatures.

Jodi Coe, 37, of Batavia-Oakfield Townline Road is facing 36 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument in the City of Batavia and five counts of the same charge in LeRoy.

Following arraignment in City of Batavia Court, Coe was committed to Genesee County Jail without bail. Coe was also arraigned at Town of LeRoy Court where bail was set at $5,000.

A 25-year-old Rochester woman is accused of stealing almost $330 worth of merchandise from K-Mart in Batavia.

Cassi Schutt is facing a petit larceny charge. She fled the store when confronted by loss prevention and was apprehended in the Tops parking lot after a brief foot chase, according to a Genesee County Sheriff's Office report.

Schutt is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 28.

A Buffalo man was arrested for allegedly snorting inhalants.

Rodney McKenzie, 48, is charged with inhalation of hazardous inhalants. The incident allegedly occurred while McKenzie was seated in a car in the Flying J parking lot in Pembroke Wednesday.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Feb. 26 for Pembroke Town Court.
