The Batavia Muckdogs have a new Major League affiliate which means they have a new coaching staff which the team announced Friday.
This year’s squad will be lead by manager Angel Espada, pitching coach Brendan Sagara and hitting coach Rich Arena.
All three held the same positions with the Jamestown Jammers last season. The Jammers were the Marlins’ short season single-A affiliate previously.
Along with the Orleans and Wyoming County Clerks, forms can be picked up at the County Clerk's Office and online and gun retail owners can pick up forms to carry in their stores as well.
Gun permit holders can now elect to keep their information private as part of the new SAFE Act legislation adopted last month. If they don't fill out the form, their information can be made public via the Freedom of Information Law.
Gun permit holders now have 60 days to submit the forms to keep their information private. The Genesee County Clerk's office is located at 15 Main Street, Batavia, in County Building 1. Monroe and Erie Counties are conducting the opt-out registry through e-mail, but Read said earlier this week that that was not most cost-effective and efficient option for Genesee County.

A mother, father and son in the Orleans County town of Clarendon were arrested yesterday for allegedly running what law enforcement called a “sophisticated indoor marijuana growing operation.”
State Police narcotics investigators and the Orleans County Major Crimes Taskforce charged the residents of 15557 Brown School House Road -- 51-year-old David Costrino, 64-year-old Marcia Costrino and 27-year-old Austin Costrino – each with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony.
The marihuana was growing in the basement, while the plants were being dried, weighed and packaged for sale on the second floor of the home.
Along with the plants, police seized a large quantity of recently-harvested marihuana, as well as two long guns and one handgun.
