The 150 people or so who attended the Batavia Muckdogs annual Hot Stove Dinner made it a success.

According to general manager Travis Sick, "several hundred pounds" of dry dog and cat food were collected for the Genesee County Animal Shelter at the event Saturday.

There is no comparison to previous years because the organization picks a different charity to benefit each year and this is the first year attendees were asked to bring in a donation, but Sick said the event was well-received.
