An incidence of domestic violence lands a Batavia man in jail.
38-year-old Daniel DiLaura of Brooklyn Avenue was arrested Saturday night.
Batavia Police say DiLaura was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in a home on State Street.
Police say DiLaura struck the woman in the face.
He’s behind bars in lieu of $10,000 bail.
A town of Batavia man has been jailed on charges of Criminal Mischief.
Deputies say 46-year-old Richard Liberte of Batavia Stafford Townline Road intentionally drove his vehicle into a parked truck and into a house.
Deputies say damage to the house was substantial.
Liberte locked up in lieu of $5,000 bail.
No motive was given.
