A Wyoming County man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a domestic violence incident.
Derek Barnes, 22, of Castile is accused of causing injuries to a pregnant woman. He is charged with menacing and assault and was committed to jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Barnes is scheduled to appear in Village of Castile Court at a later date.
A 23-year-old man is facing as assault charge for allegedly getting into a fight with someone at an Alabama workplace yesterday.
Steven Smith of Auburn was given an appearance ticket for Town of Alabama Court March 26.
The alleged incident occurred at an Alleghany Road business.
A Batavia man accused of stealing a cart full of beer from Tops back in February has been arrested on an arrest warrant by City of Batavia Police.
Mark Thweatt, 52, of Oak Street, is charged with petit larceny and conspiracy. Store surveillance and an alert neighbor on Redfield parkway were instrumental in the investigation which allegedly occurred Feb. 18.
Thweatt was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court April 4.
A Batavia man is accused of driving drunk with his two 13-year-old children in the car.
Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies say 57-year-old Joseph Zajaczkowski has been charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arrested around 11 p.m. Monday night in Royalton.
Zajaczkowski was sent to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $750 dollars bail.
