The GCEDC held its annual meeting today at GCC to outline the previous year’s accomplishments.

Among the highlights addressed by chairman Charlie Cook was the attraction of 12 new businesses, the ground breaking of the Muller/Quaker dairy facility at the Genesee Agribusiness Park and the unanimous rezoning vote by the Alabama Town Board for the continuation of the STAMP project.

Congressman Chris Collins, Assemblyman Steve Hawley, State Senator Michael Ranzenhofer, and Genesee County Legislature Chair Mary Pat Hancock were in attendance.

National Grid was recognized for its collaboration in the community and was honored with the Economic Development Partner of the Year distinction from the GCEDC.
