Three Genesee County residents are accused of shoplifting from Batavia businesses.

Melissa Morton, 27, of West Middlebury Road, Bethany, is accused of stealing a package of cupcakes valued at $9.99 from Tim Horton's earlier this month. She was issued an appearance ticket for Batavia City Court March 19.

Samantha Kent, 19, of East Shelby Road, Oakfield, allegedly shopkifted from K-Mart on March 11. She is scheduled to be in Town of Batavia Court March 28.

Mindy Miller, 23, of Clay Street, LeRoy, was arrested for petit larceny after a complaint was filed by K-Mart's loss prevention. Miller allegedly concealed various items in her ourse and continued to exit the store after passing all points of sale. Her arraignment is scheduled for April 11.

All three were charged with one count of petit larceny.
