A 20-year-old Batavia man was jailed with no bail after he allegedly violated an order of protection.
Kasean Shannon of Jackson St., has previously been convicted of criminal contempt in the last five years which makes this charge a felony. City of Batavia Police says he went to the residence of the protected party on Saturday.
A Batavia man is accused of pushing a juvenile to the ground and kicking him or her.
Robert Stanley, 53, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. He was remanded to Genesee County Jail with bail set at $2,500.
A Batavia man is charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Russell Lowther III, 55, allegedly threatened another person with a knife at Lowther’s home on E. Main St. Friday. He was locked up on $1,000 bail.
A Fredonia man is accused of driving through Batavia with a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
Matthew Cronin, 24, was driving on West Main Street Road early this morning when he was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies for traffic violations. Cronin is facing two felony counts related to driving while intoxicated as well as three traffic violations.
He is due in Court April 11.
