Voting on the budget deal rolls along in Albany.
State senators gave the $135 billion spending plan the green light early Wednesday.
The plan doles out rebate checks for middle class families and raises the minimum wage to nine-dollars an hour by 2016.
The Assembly begins voting today on the budget that is due next Monday.
State lawmakers have introduced a bill that would legalize and tax medical marijuana in New York State.
If approved, New York would join 18 other states that have approved medical marijuana for seriously ill patients. Governor Cuomo has repeatedly said he's not in favor of such a law.
