A Wyoming man is charged with felony DWI after sheriff’s deputies observed him operating a John Deer compact tractor on Main Street, Wyoming in an intoxicated state.

61-year-old Ronald Townsend is facing three charges including felony DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation. He refused to take a breath test. The alleged incident occurred at about 1 this morning.

Townsend was jailed on $5,000 bail and is due in Town of Middlebury Court at a later date.


In Livingston County, a Town of Lima man is facing felony drug charges.

Thomas Ripley, 27,  is locked up in lieu of $100,000 dollars bail. Livingston County’s Drug Task Force accuses Ripley of trafficking in narcotics.
