A flood watch is in effect in Genesee County until 6 a.m. tomorrow.
The area could see up to two inches of rain.
The steady rain will cause creeks to rise and for water to collect on the roadways.
At this time, the Tonawanda creek in Batavia is far below the “action” level of seven feet. It currently is measured at just over two feet.
