The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says a Rochester woman who is banned from all Walmart stores for attempting to shoplift there previously, was caught allegedly trying to steal from there again yesterday.
Cassi Schutt, 26, is charged with petit larceny and trespass for allegedly trying to steal $270 worth of merchandise from the Batavia store. According to Walmart, she also violated its notification of restriction from their property.
Schutt was accused of stealing from K-Mart and fleeing from police in a foot chase once she was confronted in February.
She is due in court on the newest charges June 27.
A Batavia man is facing several charges following a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Stafford.
27-year-old Lamar Randall of East Main Street is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation and a speeding violation for allegedly driving 71 miles per hour in a 55 zone.
He is due in court Aug. 20.
