The May flowers seem to have brought June showers.

Steve McLaughlin with the National Weather Service says weather patterns last week left us primed for rain over the weekend.


4 to 5 inches of rain fell. That doesn’t bode well for Genesee County agriculture. Drainage ditches and culverts overflowed in some areas.

The National Weather Service calling for pleasant weather in the short term, but rain likely on the weekend.
