It’s the end of the line for one small business in Batavia.
The House of K, specializing in European fashions for women, will close its doors at the end of June after over 6 years of business at the corner of East Main and Jackson Streets.

Owner Kamilla Kabel says it’s not the economy or falling sales – it’s just the right time. She also says the location has been ideal for her business.

Kabel says she has a database of over 500 women who were regular customers at the store – 90-percent of them from Genesee County.
House of K will host a party this Saturday from 10 until 4 for all customers. The store remains open until the end of the month.
