It's speed week in New York, as in don't do it.
It's the number one cause of death on New York roadways, so Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to put the brakes on speeders and aggressive drivers.
Beginning today State Police troopers are not only looking for speeders, but distracted drivers, impaired drivers and drivers who forget to buckle up.
Speed Week coincides with the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races at Watkins Glen International Raceway.
