Just three weeks after being released from state prison, a man is charged with the attempted rape of a young woman at a West Main Street Road motel.
John Saddler, 26, is also charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, forcible touching and unlawful imprisonment. He was released from Collins Correctional Facility on Aug. 11 after serving nearly six years on a pair of felony assault charges.
State Police say Saddler and the young woman were hanging out with friends and relatives in a motel room Saturday evening when she was eventually left alone with Saddler.
He is being held at the Genesee County Jail.
