The harassment case involving the LeRoy Town Supervisor will be heard in Bethany Town Court, not LeRoy.

Stephen Barbeau is charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly pushing local businessman Peter McQuillen to the ground during an argument in August. Judge Robert Noonan of Genesee County Court granted the motion for a change of venue because both LeRoy judges recused themselves from the case and other options could be a conflict of interest.

The next court date for Barbeau was not set.
