A two car head-on crash this morning in Orleans County leaves one driver trapped in the wreckage while the other escapes moments before her vehicle burst into flames.

The accident happened just before 8 this morning on East Lee Road in the Town of Clarendon.
Deputies say 28-year-old Randi Lee Johnson of Albion was driving her late model jeep westbound. She crossed the center line and struck a Ford Taurus driven by 29-year-old Sherell Lindsay of Medina.
Both women were alone in their vehicles.
Johnson was able to escape just before her car burst into flames and was totally consumed by fire.
She has been taken to Strong Memorial.
Lindsay was trapped in her vehicle for 45 minutes. She was flown to Strong by Mercy Flight.
The conditions of both women are unknown.
