The Genesee Gateway Local Development Corporation will vote on a $200,000 loan requested by Yancey’s Fancy at its board meeting this afternoon.

The cheese makers are working on a $2 million project to install a reverse-osmosis system at their Corfu facility. The addition would allow Yancey’s Fancy to take whey that is currently shipped out as an expense and convert it into a solid to be sold to processors.

The GGLDC board meeting is open to the public at the MedTech Center across from GCC.
