Batavia Police and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department are on the trail of a pair of suspected credit card thieves.
The scammers have struck twice in Batavia. The first incident occurred near a hotel on Park Road on Friday, June 4th. The criminals apparently broke into a vehicle, stole credit cards, and then used them. Then it happened again on Monday June 14th, outside a business on Gateway Drive. The suspects in both incidents are described as “similar”.

Below are surveillance photos of two people of interest in the case. Lawmen are asking for public help in identifying the pair. They are wanted for questioning.
Anyone with information is asked to call Batavia Police at 345-6444 or the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department at 345-3000, extension 35-70.
