34-year-old Dashawn Butler remains on the loose.
He’s wanted by Batavia Police in connection with a shooting incident on State Street last month.
On Friday, BPD issued an update on an incident of shots fired on Jackson Street.
Police say they have DNA evidence from the scene that is now being processed and they have questioned two people in connection with the case. Their names were not released.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Batavia Police confidential tip line at 345-6370.

Batavia Police today continue to look for the persons or persons who broke into the I.D. Booth Plumbing supply store on Liberty Street.
Police say suspects broke into the store last Thursday and made off with a quantity of name brand power and hand tools.
Anyone with information is asked to call Batavia Police.

LeRoy Police nab a suspect for causing a disturbance at Tops Markets in the Village.
23-year-old Gregory Dejesus of Perry Road has been jailed on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

Dejesus has been jailed in lieu of $1,500 bail.
