Two registered level 2 sex offenders who have served jail time for violent sex crimes have been indicted on new charges by a Genesee County grand jury.
-Jon Magliocco, 36, of Batavia is charged in a 17-count indictment with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act.
The indictment alleges Magliocco of having sexual contact each day for nearly a week straight from Aug. 31 until Sept. 4 with someone under the age of 17. The incidents allegedly occurred in a tent in the Town of Batavia and in a home on Watson Street in the City.
The New York State Division of Justice Services database indicates he spent a year in jail for a conviction of second-degree sexual abuse for having sexual contact with a 13-year-old in the City of Batavia in May 2008.
-Also, Patrick Hackett is indicted on a third-degree rape charge.
The 45-year-old was convicted in 1993 of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping involving two women. Those charges landed him a 12 1/2 to 25-year prison term.
The recent indictment alleges he raped a 15-year-old girl in the Town of Batavia on April 13.
