A suspected child molester out of Niagara County has been arrested in Batavia.
Sean Vickers, originally of Geneva, is being held in the Genesee County Jail in lieu of a half-million dollars bail.
Vickers was already classified as a Level 3 sex offender before being accused of molesting three children in the Niagara County communities of Barker and Middleport earlier this year.
Authorities say Vickers has an extensive criminal history of child sexual abuse.
Details of his arrest have not been released.

The murder trial for for a suspect in the slaying of a Chautauqua County school superintendent will continue today. Anthony Taglianetti stands accused of murdering Clymer School Superintendent Keith Reed last year after discovering his wife had been involved in an affair with him. Opening statements were presented yesterday and the defense emphasized that the Virginia man did not murder or kill Reed.
