A Batavia man has been indicted for the rape of a 10 year old girl.
26-year-old Terrel Goodsen is charged with Predatory Sexual Assault of a Child and First Degree Sexual Abuse.
Authorities say Goodsen assaulted the child on Hutchins Street back in September.
An Albion man is facing several charges for allegedly shoplifting from two Batavia stores.
49-year-old Jerry Walls of East State Street, Albion, is accused of boosting merchandise from Wal-Mart and Home Depot.
He is also accused of falsifying documents at a local pawn shop.
Walls has been jailed in lieu of two-thousand dollars bail.
An Attica man has been arrested for allegedly selling phony morphine pills.
24-year-old Steven Snyder of West Avenue, Attica, is also accused of selling imitation LSD.
Snyder’s arrest was a result of an investigation by the Wyoming County Drug Task Force.
A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 5 this evening for Genesee and Orleans counties.
So far there have been no major power outages.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reports scattered incidents of tree limbs down, causing some arcing from electric wires.
The peak wind gust as measured at the NYS School for the Blind on Richmond Avenue was 36 miles an hour.
