Batavia Police continue their search for the armed bandit who held up the Days Inn early this morning.

This is the third armed robbery in the area in less than a week.
Batavia Police Detective Todd Crossett describes the latest hold-up:
"At about 2:40 a.m. we had an individual enter the Days Inn and point a shotgun at the clerk and stole an unknown amount of money."
No one hurt.
The suspect is described as 5ft. 7-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a bandana over his face and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt.
Police are still looking for a suspect in the hold up of the Best Western early Thursday and the 7-Eleven Store in Oakfield early Friday:
"At this point we are not sure if it is the same suspect but obviously the same time of day, the use of a gun, and other similarities, but at this time we can not say for certain it is the same suspect," Crossett said.
Anyone with information about any of the robberies is asked to call Batavia Police at 345-6350.
