A Batavia man is charged with felony DWI.

Matthew Beccue, 44, of Elm Street was pulled over in East Main Street in the City last week for allegedly moving from a lane unsafely. Police say Beccue was driving at about 8 p.m. with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. They also discovered that Beccue had a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years, making this offense a felony charge.

He is also charged with Aggravated DWI and Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.
