Cunniff has passed away as a result of serious injuries from a vehicle accident while he was on duty last night. I send my deepest condolences to Trooper Cunniff's family and friends during this painful time. Trooper Cunniff was only 35 years old and had already dedicated nine years of service to the State Police.
