The brother of a man serving a three-and-a-half-year prison term for stealing high voltage wire from industrial plants in LeRoy pleads guilty to a count of possession of stolen property.
With the plea deal in County Court today, 26-year-old Dustin Nicometo – formerly of LeRoy and now of Bernville, Pa. – satisfies two felony indictments against him, which included burglary and grand larceny charges.
He has a chance to receive an intermittent jail term followed by probation as part of the plea deal. He admitted to possessing wiring and equipment that he had a reason to believe were stolen.
In January, his brother, Michael, was also sentenced to pay back over $86,000 in restitution to Dolomite and Troy Manufacturing.
