A huge weekend of sectional title games for four Genesee County teams that you can catch right here on WBTA.

Notre Dame girls and boys, Pembroke girls and Batavia boys are all playing in their respective sectional title games this weekend.

Kicking off the championship weekend here on WBTA is the Fighting irish girls who take on another private school, Bishop Kearney, in the class B2 sectional championship game. The reigning class D champs were bumped up two classes from last season and will face the Kings at 11 am from Rush-Henrietta High School.

Next is the Dragons who are making their first title appearance since 1987. They take on Lyons tomorrow with a 5 p.m. tip from Rush-Henrietta.

After that -- the final two Genesee County boys teams at Blue Cross Arena. First the Fighting Irish boys face Jasper-Troupsburg in the class D1 sectional final at 7 p.m. Notre Dame is looking for head coach Mike Rapone’s 9th sectional title in 18 appearances.

And last but not least the Batavia boys who are vying for the class A2 sectional title. They battle Geneva on Sunday at 5 at Blue Cross Arena.
