Former Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly has been diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer.

The Hall-of-Fame quarterback had an initial surgery Wednesday for pain on the left side of his face and jaw area.
He will have another surgery in New York and is expected to undergo six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy.
Kelly underwent surgery last June to remove cancerous cells from his jaw. At that time, chemotherapy and radiation were not needed and he stated earlier this year that he was cancer free.
