Neighbors of a proposed housing development near Stringham Drive in the Town of Batavia appear to want no part of the multi-million dollar project.
A public hearing was held last night and WBTA’s Geoff Redick was there:
Lawyers for Nathaniel Development declined to comment after the hearing.
During the session however, one of the attorney’s for the company noted that the current proposal before the planning board deals only with subdividing the land and not the type of housing that would be built there.
A Batavia man is in trouble again for allegedly selling drugs.
20-year-old Dyllon Soccio of Tracy Avenue was arrested yesterday afternoon at the courts building.
He’s charged this time with selling cocaine to an agent of the Local Drug Task Force.
Soccio was just arrested last month when police said he was in possession of pot, powdered cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
A homeless man is accused of rape in the Village of LeRoy.
21-year-old Jacob Lambertson is charged with multiple Counts of Rape in the Third Degree, a felony.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies say Lambertson had sexual relations with two girls under the age of seventeen. Deputies say the incidents occurred between April and June of this year.
Lambertson is locked up in Genesee County Jail on $10,000 bail.
