The Genesee County Agri-business Park is expanding with the help of National Grid.
The utility has pledged 130-thousand dollars to bring electricity to a recently acquired 37-acre expansion of the park.
The park has been developed by the Genesee County Economic Development Center.
It is the location of two yogurt manufacturing planst in the town of Batavia.
A Rochester man has been charged with robbing three Tops Markets stores over the past three years.
The nearest store to Batavia was the Tops in Avon.
22 year old Tyrelis Austin has been charged with robbing Tops stores in Henrietta, Greece and the one in Avon.
The Avon heist occurred late last month and ended in a high speed chase on Route 390.
Prosecutors say Austin handed his victims a note telling them to put all the money in a bag...or, quote, I will shoot you.
After his arrest, authorities said Austin admitted his involvement in all three robberies.
LeRoy Police announce the arrest of two women on unrelated charges.
43-year-old Meaghan Schiavi of Perry is charged with identity theft for allegedly obtaining credit card information from a friend and then used that information to make a purchase in LeRoy.
Meaghan was issued a court appearance ticket on the misdemeanor.
53-year-old Marianne Molaro of Ham Road, Oakfield, arrested by LeRoy Police on one count of Grand larceny. Police say Marianne unlawfully removed property from a LeRoy business where she worked. She was released on her own recognizance.
