The names of the couple found shot to death in Alden over the weekend have now been released.
Authorities say Sherry and Jeffrey Zukowski were victims of an apparent murder/suicide.
The Zukowskis, both 42, were found dead in their Sandridge Road home early Sunday morning.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
The couple's two children, a 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son, were home during what police described as a domestic dispute.
Dispatchers directed the children out of the house.
It is not clear when the fatal shots were fired.
The children are now staying with relatives.
A malfunctioning electric fence is the apparent cause of a fire in North Java that caused $200,000 damage.
Flames ripped through the Route 98 property of Kevin Vickers Monday afternoon.
10 volunteer fire companies, including Attica and Alexander from Genesee County, responded to the blaze.
Authorities said the fire started in a barn and quickly spread to a nearby house trailer and propane tanks.
One firefighter suffered minor burns.
Another Buffalo Bill is being investigated as the second car in a street race where teammate Marcel Darius was involved in a crash. Defensive lineman Jerry Hughes is reportedly being investigated as the driver of a black Camaro seen racing with Darius in Hamburg. Darius crashed his white Jaguar into a tree outside of a Hamburg restaurant last Friday and was arrested on misdemeanor charges.
Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to be in Rochester today. The governor is scheduled to be at the RIT. He is expected to make an announcement related to the START-Up New York program creating tax free zones around state colleges and universities. Cuomo will also be appearing in Buffalo later today.
A new report indicates that New York has the second highest gasoline tax in the country. New York's gas tax is currently just under 50 cents a gallon, which is second to California's nearly 53 cents a gallon.
Alaska has the lowest state gas tax at 12-cents.
