A truck loaded with 15-tons of liquid fertilizer strikes a house in Wyoming County over the weekend.

Six agencies including the Department of Conservation were called to the scene on Route 78 in Strykersville Saturday.

It happened when a flat bed truck driven by 31-year-old James Winter lost its brakes and crashed into a house.

Winter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No one inside the house was hurt.

Authorities said a very small amount of the fertilizer spilled although a hundred gallons of diesel fuel leaked out of the truck.

Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
