An accused credit card thief appearing in Genesee County Court on a charge of violation of probation.
20-year-old Kyle Monroe of Washington Avenue is currently jailed on a charge of Grand Larceny. Monroe allegedly stole credit cards from parked vehicles in Batavia earlier this year.
Today, Monroe pleaded not guilty to the violation of probation charge, which stems from a past conviction for Possession of Stolen Property. Judge Robert Noonan granted Monroe 10-thousand dollars bail today.
Monroe has an additional 5-thousand dollars bail for the Grand Larceny charge, but has not posted it. He remains incarcerated.
