A Perry man is charged in connection to an arson fire at a home in Mount Morris.

Deputies were called to Grove Street in the Village for a report of visible flames at 3:30 this morning.

After a short time on scene, they arrested 22-year-old Brandon Rosa after receiving information from neighbors.

Once the fire was under control, officers learned that the was significant vandalism inside the home to furniture, walls, appliances, windows, doors and more.

The attached garage was a total loss because of the fire.

Rosa was treated and released from Strong Memorial. He’s charged with third-degree arson, burglary, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.
