Le Roy Police looking for Wallet Thief

It happened yesterday between 3 and 4 p.m. on West Main Street in the Village.
Officers warn of this kind of criminal behavior where a thief will follow someone around the store then distract the victim intentionally, or wait until they’re distracted for other reasons, and take the wallet from the shopping cart.
They say to call 9-1-1 if you witness this crime.
