Governor Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders are agreeing on a measure to provide more education and employment help to veterans.
The measure would lower the cost of higher education for veterans receiving benefits under the G.I. Bill.
The proposal would also offer military families more flexibility with professional licenses received in other states.
The measure would additionally ease the transition to new schools for children of military families that relocate because of a change of duty station.
