A two-county police chase ends in Wyoming County with the driver facing about five dozen traffic violations.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office says deputies tries to pull over a vehicle that had left the scene of a possible domestic violence incident. It started in the Town of Holland, Erie County, then to the Town of Sheldon on Route 78 and into the Town of Java.

The driver, 49-year-old Robert Feirabend, of Cheektowaga, then headed southeast. Deputies say he was going over 80 miles per hour, traveling in opposite lanes of traffic and violating multiple other vehicle and traffic laws.

Finally, spike stripes ended the pursuit and deputies say it was later determined he was intoxicated. Feirabend was given 58 tickets in three jurisdictions. He’s also charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer.
