East Pembroke fire officials are holding a special meeting at the fire hall Thursday at 7 to go over the proposal to build a brand new $3 million fire hall.

Member William Joyce tells WBTA it could be approved, so the public is welcome to attend and speak.

The district is asking for a new fire hall for the volunteer department which serves 5,500 residents because the decades-old one barely has the room to contain trucks, has crumbling cement and the rec hall is supported by dozens of beams.
