It’s a case of a pilfered pond fountain.
The Le Roy Country Club is offering a $300 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals who stole their pond fountain.
Owner Jim Gomborone, said workers noticed the fountain was gone when it didn’t turn on during the day.

"It shuts off and night and turns on during the day, and they noticed it was not down there," Jim Gomborone said.  "(The workers) went down looking for it, and it was gone.  They had cut the rope, cut the electric cord, pulled it out."

Gombrone says the fountain is not only for show, but it also aerates the pond.  The fountain is worth several thousand dollars.
