A pizza delivery driveris charged after police say he made up a story about witnessing a murder because he was late.

Mason Requa, 18, is facing a charge of falsely reporting an incident.

His detailed claim ignited a four-hour search in Clarkson, Monroe County by several police agencies.

Police say Requa admitted to making up the murder because he didn’t want to be fired from Mark’s Pizzeria for being late with a delivery.

He was arraigned on the misdemeanor charge and was jailed on $1,000 bail.
