29-year-old Justin Amend, accused of having sex on a public park bench in Farrall Park, pleaded guilty yesterday in Batavia City Court.
In pleading guilty to public lewdness, Amend legally admits only to "intentionally exposing the private or intimate parts of his body in a lewd manner or committing any other lewd act (a) in a public place, or (b) in private premises under circumstances in which he may readily be observed from either a public place or from other private premises, and with intent that he be so observed."
Amend is scheduled for sentencing on October 19th. The charge is a class B misdemeanor, meaning Amend could face a maximum of 6 months in jail.
Alleged partner Suzanne Corona is scheduled to appear in City Court on August 18th.
