Seven people were shot, four fatally, after a fight at a downtown Buffalo restaurant spilled into the street where multiple shots were fired, Buffalo Police said.

At least 50 emergency vehicles responded to the scene, including dozens of Buffalo police officers and Transit Police. The call came it at 2:30 a.m. from the 200 block of Main Street where as many as 100 people were attending a formal party at City Grill restaurant.

Of the four survivors, one is in very critical condition according to police. Two of the injured are male. The third is female. Among the dead was a Texas man who witnesses say arrived in Buffalo on Friday and was going to be married on Saturday. One of the deceased is female, police officials confirmed.

Those who attended the party said that it was a formal affair to celebrate a wedding, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon.
