Tom Lewin is finally cleaning up.
Lewin was represented by an attorney in City Court today, for an appearance regarding sanitation charges against the former Latina's Grocery downtown. Lewin is the manager of LKLWL Properties, the company that owns the building.
The building faces sanitation violations after an infamous flock of seagulls laid waste to it earlier this summer.
Code enforcement says the building has now seen significant compliance over the past few weeks. Just yesterday, WBTA News cameras captured images of crews cleaning the roof.
Tom Lewin was given 30 days to finish cleaning the property. If he does not, he’ll appear in City Court on September 17th.
