Lawmen in Genesee and Orleans counties today are searching for two people they fear may have harmed themselves.
The two cases are not related.
In the Town of Darien, Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies continue to search for a 66-year-old man in the Sumner Road area.
His family had reported the man missing late yesterday.
Deputies used a helicopter in the search this morning until bad weather set in. Deputies say the man is no threat to anyone other than himself.
In Orleans County today a similar situation. This cases involves an Albion woman.
Authorities have used a State Police helicopter to search for the 51-year-old woman who suffers from Bi-polar disorder. She left a note with her family yesterday indicating an intention to harm herself.
In the Orleans County case, as in the Town of Darien search, the subjects are not deemed a threat to anyone but themselves.
