A 51-year-old Albion woman, missing since Wednesday morning, has been found alive.
Orleans County Sheriff's Deputies located Gina Scheg at about 5:00pm today, in a wooded area just half a mile from her home. Scheg went missing from her residence yesterday and left a note indicating that she intended to harm herself.
Deputies say Scheg was conscious but incoherent when they found her. The deputies brought her to a nearby roadway where she was transported by ambulance to Medina Memorial Hospital. She will undergo a medical and mental health evaluation there.
